Hi everyone and welcome to my blog! My name is Anna and I am from East Lansing, Michigan. As someone who ALWAYS has a lot to say, starting a blog has been something that I have been wanting to do for quite some time now. I have decided to pursue this dream and I couldn’t be more excited! To be completely honest, it was in lieu of some recent life changes that I decided it was time to re-boot and invest my energy into a few passions of mine that I had lost site of.
“No, it won’t all go the way it should, but I know the heart of life is good” –John Mayer
Born and raised a Michigan girl, I absolutely love the Midwest and all it has to offer. I am totally that girl that watches the #PureMichigan commercials with a beaming smile and an overwhelming sense of pride. I grew up in East Lansing and decided to stay for an additional four years to attend Michigan State University. I graduated in May of 2014 and was then forced into the real world! Scary! I spent my first year out of college on the West side of Michigan living in Holland and I absolutely loved it. Though Holland is without a doubt one of my favorite cities, I knew it was time for me to explore life beyond Michigan. In August of 2015 I stepped out of my comfort zone and up and moved to Austin, Texas. I lived with my best friend right downtown in what felt like an all inclusive resort! Even still, my Texas adventure was short lived. I up and moved myself back to Michigan in December of 2015. Though I really did come to love Austin and all it had to offer, it was evident that my heart was back in Michigan. I am currently back in my home town of East Lansing working at Lansing Neurosurgery for an incredible Neurosurgeon. I love my job and I love my life here in the mitten! All in God’s timing, I have a good feeling that the best is yet to come!
On this blog, you will find my love for Michigan, my passion for fashion and my journey through this crazy life! I hope you all enjoy!
Meet the girl behind the camera….
I would like to take a moment to introduce the girl behind the camera! My dear friend Serena has been an incredible support as I walk through the blogging world. Not only does she take beautiful pictures, but she also offers feedback as I constantly pester her with new thoughts and ideas. Adventuring and exploring this beautiful state for the sake of the blog wouldn’t be nearly as fun without her! I am so grateful for her photography skills in addition to her friendship. If you would ever like to reach Serena Martin in regards to photography, you may contact her at: firstname.lastname@example.org
