Austin, Texas is truly a beautiful place.  The city is filled with countless places to see, eat and explore. I recently spent about 5 days in Texas visiting my friend Anna, and I must say, I am impressed by the amount of things we were able to pack into our time together! We accomplished so much in so little time and it was perfect.

{Side note: The visit would have been equally as perfect even if we were sitting around doing absolutely nothing. Life is good as long as we are together! #AnnaPower}

The pictures above were taken at the Texas Capitol. The building itself is incredible! It features late 19th century architecture and is recognized as one of the nation’s most distinguished state capitols. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. Anna (my little Texas tour guide) took me to see the capitol before meeting a few college friends for dinner in downtown Austin. I wore a white hi-lo maxi dress that had a very delicate and flowy elegance to it that I simply adore. It was the perfect dress to survive the heat. Flowy in Austin is a good thing! I picked this dress up at TJ Maxx for under $30. They no longer carry this specific maxi, so I linked another white, flowy favorite up top! Stay tuned, as I plan to recap more of our Austin adventures in addition to the outfits I wore in my posts to come.  Thanks for reading!

Xoxo, Anna

p.s. please excuse the date stamp at the bottom of my pictures. I experienced some technical difficulties with my camera! Oops!
