Living downtown, with plenty of other dogs around and lots of things for Mac to get into, flea and tick season is something I take very seriously! When I found the Adams Family of Products, I knew I had hit the jackpot. The price in comparison to the treatments I have gotten for Mac at his vet in the past are far more affordable! And while you may wonder about how effective products off of the shelves can be, I can assure you these Adams products are far more efficacious than naturals. Winning with price and winning with efficacy. Using these products took me by surprise in the best way! They’re easy and quick to use to prep and treat your dog as we head into the thick of flea and tick season. Here is my product breakdown from the day I prepped not only Mac but also my home!
- Adams Flea & Tick Cleansing Shampoo 16 oz – this product was incredible. I really felt like I was getting through Mac’s coat to properly treat for all of the yucky flea eggs, ticks and lice that could potentially harm him. This product prevents flea eggs from hatching for 4 weeks, cleans and also deodorizes. The smell was very fresh and not chemically at all!
- Adams Flea & Tick Spray 16 oz – I really liked this product for Mac because it breaks the flea life cycle for up to two months. The duration of this product was something that I really liked. Assurance for myself that Mac will be protected for a long while!
- Adams Flea & Tick Collar Plus for Dogs – I think it’s safe to say that this was one of my favorite products of all that was sent to me! The Adams Flea & Tick Collar tin came with two, 6 month collars. I put this on Mac after the spray and shampoo treatments. I was amazed at how easily it slid on and how nicely it hid underneath his actual collar. He didn’t mind me putting it on and it doesn’t bother him one bit! I really appreciate that there’s one collar for now and one for later.
- Adams Flea & Tick Carpet & Home Spray 16 oz – This product is bug haters dream come true!!! Not only does it protect Mac by killing fleas and prevent pre-adult fleas developing into biting adults, it also kills ticks, roaches, spiders, crickets, silverfish and sowbugs. I have an incredibly embarrassing fear of spiders so I love this product! Anything that I can do to aid in preventing them from living in my home is something I am all over! This spray will be a staple in my home from here on out!
