An emblem of good luck, wear the anchor charm for courage, safety, and peace of mind.” This write up of the nautical charm by Alex and Ani is the perfect sum as to why I love anchors as much as I do. I cling to the symbol of hope among life’s trials every single day! The anchor in these pictures is one of my favorites and can be found on Hope College’s campus. Hope’s motto comes from Psalm 42:5: “Hope in God” and the anchor is the college’s emblem. I was excited to share this anchor with you, because living near Hope College’s campus in Holland, Michigan, I see this sight quite often. It is an assuring reminder that we have this hope as an anchor for our soul (Hebrews 6:19)!
As for my outfit, this dress is one of my favorites. Likely because, as I have mentioned before, navy and orange is one of my absolute favorite color combinations. The neckline is unique and it comes together in the back with a fun little tie to make a bow. I love that you can style this dress up or style it down depending on the occasion. It is very versatile which makes it all the more lovable!
