Fit and Flare Finds:
Happy Sunday all! As I type this, I can hardly believe the weekend has already (almost) come to an end. It was a whirlwind in the best way and I am grateful for all that I was able to do and accomplish. While I would have loooooved to twirl in this dress all weekend long, I spent most of my time packing and purging, furniture shopping and organizing! A lot of work but fun work, so I can’t complain. As mentioned in an earlier post, I am moving to Grand Rapids, Michigan at the end of the month. I can’t wait to share more of that with you all in future posts to come!
For now, one week at a time! This week is a big one for my family. On Friday, we will enter into the 6th year without my Dad. October 20th inevitabley holds memories of pain and heartbreak. That day was was so hard and each year it comes around is another year we are reminded that my Dad is no longer with us. With that said, we are fortunate in that my Mom and my sisters and I will all be together this weekend surrounded by people we love! We love knowing that my Dad is in Heaven and long for the day that we will see him again.
This week is also Michigan State’s homecoming! My Dad loved football and he loved Michigan State so it’s always fun to do what he loved and reminisce on the times we had with him! My sisters and I all have friends coming into town so we will tailgate and go to the game and enjoy a midwest weekend at it’s finest!
I go into this week with mixed emotions but look forward to seeing my family and friends! Sending my best to you all!
