“What if I told you sometimes I lose my faith?” (I love these words from Darius Rucker). I was going to go on and on about this but I’ve opted to keep it light for two reasons. 1) Because my mom might kill me if I tell her that I can’t help pack due to the fact that I’m busy writing and 2) Because there’s just no need. Quite simply stated, sometimes I lose my faith. I’m only human.This move out of my childhood home has proved those words to be true on more than one occasion. Thankfully, I have a big God that sends daily reminders to walk in the light of Grace. On day one of the move, a song titled “Tell Your Heart To Beat Again” by Danny Gokey came on the radio to kick off my day. I think it’s safe to say that this was God’s reminder to me. He found a way into my heart through song and the words were so fitting! They reminded me to cling to my faith instead of run from it. Heaven is working for my good and the heartaches, heartbreaks and scars are a great reminder of Who has carried me this far.
Thank you to Jimmy John’s for fueling our move and for putting a smile on my face! With our plates, cups, silverware, ect. wrapped up in boxes, a grab and go sandwich (+ a cookie) is perfection! Fast and easy, not to mention delicious! Loving on the little things lately!
