Ok you guys! I am so excited to share this post because you are looking at my favorite collaboration to date! Mostly because it is one that is near and dear to my heart hehe but also because it sports my favorite Fall dress! This adorable little swing dress was made by my amazing neighbor and family friend named Lauren. A little fun background info (because we all know I am not short on words!) I actually used to babysit Lauren back in the day. She is now in high school and no longer in need of a babysitter but still very present in my life and for that I am so grateful. The best part about the community that I was raised in is our ability to see that it takes a village. Lauren’s family has supported me throughout the years and I feel incredibly honored to now have the opportunity to support her as she dives into her fairly new endeavor in the fashion industry. Lauren opened her Etsy shop in 2015 and I am so incredibly proud of all she has accomplished. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her because I definitely see a career in the fashion industry! Lauren has a servants heart and will certainly do big things in this world!
When Lauren reached out to me and asked if I would try on one of her dresses I was certainly excited but envisioned simply another dress! Well let me tell you, I was SO wrong! I put this dress on and it truly took me by surprise. The fit, the bell sleeves, the fabric. It is all so fantastically Fall. It gave me immediate Ralph Lauren vibes and I did not want to take it off! It’s cute and cozy which is always such a win! This plaid flannel dress is made with a soft and cozy, 100% acrylic, flannel fabric that is great for this time of year.
