If you are ever in East Lansing, the MSU Horitculture Gardens are without a doubt worth a visit. With 14 acres of different types of gardens, it’s easy to spend an afternoon lost in the beauty of it all. I must take a moment to confess that when I was there, the majority of my afternoon was spent romping around the MSU 4H Children’s garden! In my defense, it is a garden made for children of ALL ages, and if I’m being honest, I am very much still a child at heart! In fact, one of my favorite verses from the bible is from Matthew 18:3. The verse reads, 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”. I often try and see the world through the eyes of an innocent child, enjoying the little things and appreciating the beauty that surrounds us each day.
I love the romper I am wearing in the pictures above. It was fun to be in such a bright, flowy and floral outfit for a day of exploring. The romper is a Show Me Your MuMu piece from East Lansing Threads. I absolutely love the little boutique that sits on Grand River right across from Michigan State University’s campus. If you haven’t been in to check it out, I highly suggest you go!
