While I do love to dress up and look nice when I’m out and about, I also love coming home from work and putting on my cozies! Especially in the winter! That and some days as a whole just call for leggings and a cozy pullover. Yesterday was one of those days as it was a beautiful but so so chilly. I can’t even begin to explain how stunning the sunset was last night. Yes it was cold (hence the icebergs behind me!) but it was truly breath taking. I’ve had this Patagonia for over 3 years now and it still looks just as nice as the day I bought it.  It’s my favorite, perfect for those necessary and cherished cozy moments! My sister Allison has always loved my mint green color and I could swear it didn’t exist last year. I could be wrong but I remember shopping around for it for her in nearby stores and the mint green was never an option. In either case, the green is in stock at Nordstrom (or at least a very similar green) and I have linked it below! I love that the color is fairly neutral but still adds a little something fun to a simple pullover! Fun fact for you all: the beach was incredibly crowded last night! I guess the cold doesn’t stop us crazy Michiganders hehe!

Happy Monday Everyone!

  1. Stumbled upon your blog last night, I enjoy lifestyle and fashion pages; however in recent searches I’ve added the search component “Midwest” (Iowa Hawkeye Heartland Girl here). I absolutely relate to the water, light, family, outdoor components and your sense of style! I’ll enjoy following your future posts…

    1. Hi Amy! So fun reading your comment. Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog. I love the Midwest and is fun to hear from someone who can relate! My sister actually lives in Iowa as that is where her husband was born and raised! She now works for the University of Iowa! I enjoy visits, Iowa City is a really cool town! I look forward to keeping in touch! Xo!
