Happy hump day all! Half way to the holiday weekend, hang in there! In my book, Memorial Day weekend kicks off summer at the lake. Though the temperatures in Michigan are unreliable and the weather is still considerably iffy, it’s still the weekend you see most all of the boats go in the waters and the summer towns swell. I love it! For this long weekend, I will be traveling to Holland (surprised?!) for a weekend spent with friends and family. Holland is the cutest little town on the West side of the state, surrounded by other small beach towns, making it extra fun. The atmosphere is unbeatable and I can hardly wait to be back in my happy place surrounded by some of my favorite people. Does anyone else have fun weekend plans?! As many of us set out to enjoy, I want to make sure to uphold a heart of gratitude for our brothers and sisters in our Armed Forces. Thank you to those who have served our country and for those who continue to serve. And to those who gave their lives, God bless you and your families.
