Happy Monday everyone! I spent this past weekend getting caught up on life! Haha!!! I wish I was kidding but I’m not. Totally serious! As I work to see my blog develop and grow, I also maintain a full time job and a social life with friends and family. It’s easy to get behind and sometimes I just need a few days to get myself back on track! I truly believe that you grow through what you go through and this season of life is pushing me to grow and grow because I’ll be honest, I feel like I am going through a lot! Don’t get me wrong, all good things that I am walking through, however, I have put a lot on my plate and managing it all has been quite a task. I wouldn’t change the chaos as it has taught me a lot about myself and a lot about what I am capable of. Lists are my life line!

It’s crazy to be in a place of “totally overwhelmed” in the absolute best way because truly, I never saw myself here, surrounded with endless opportunities. I am in awe. It was around this time last year that I openly shared on my blog a little bit about the incredibly painful (personal) journey I was walking through at the time. I was battling my own happiness and it was heartbreaking every step of the way. Through my writing, I was able to expose that although my life looked good on paper (or in this case a screen), I was actually really struggling. Without a full recap, I can tell you that I ultimately decided to choose happiness and it’s proved to be the right choice. As my blog inches closer to it’s second birthday, I am humbly reminded that I went through a lot to get here. I didn’t do it alone, it takes a village! Heading into February, I look forward to sharing more about the journey I have been on over the past year. While it seems like a random time of year for most, it is incredibly monumental to me. I am so grateful for all that life has thrown my way, the good and the bad and the busy! With the right perspective, all are worthy of walking through! Amazing where life can take you in such a short amount of time! Perseverance my friends 🙂

Xoxo, Anna
