“Life is short; I wanna live it well
One life, one story to tell”

Switchfoot

This song came on as I was driving to Grand Rapids today and I couldn’t help but feel super motivated to share a little tidbit regarding my ultimate goal here on Midwest Charm with Anna. Everyone has a story and everyone’s story is worth sharing. Some people opt not to share, some people share privately with family and friends and others share through song, through pictures or in my case, through writing. I suppose it’s just whatever you feel called to do. I feel called to write. I feel called to write and I feel called to share. I by no means am a writing pro (that role belongs to my sister), but I have certainly lived some life! At the age of just 25, I have faced adversities that I never could have seen coming. They’ve made me stronger and deepened my faith and I have complete confidence that God is using me, through trials and tribulations, to reach others. Romans 5:3-4 says, “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” I have hope in what God is doing in my life and I believe in His plan.

So any who, while I love clothes and I love to shop, I also love to write. The commonality of interest as it pertains to fashion and my lifestyle has allowed me to build a platform that I never thought possible. I’ve always dreamed of captivating a wide audience and through a variety of topics, such as fashion, faith, life, fitness, food, ect, I’ve been able to slowly grow and reach people that I otherwise wouldn’t be able to reach. I doubt you’ve picked up on this (or perhaps you have), but this blog has served as a rough draft for many thoughts and ideas I’ve had through the years. It’s been the recipient of many rambles and many miscellaneous thoughts and all have helped me to work on something that I deem “bigger”. I am thankful for the creative outlet this blog has given me in addition to the means it has provided me with so that I can live out my ultimate dream and pursue what I truly feel called to do. Unbeknown to most, I’ve been (on and off) working on something that I feel very passionate about. I often flip flop on how I want it to go and I’ve faced yes’s and no’s in the process but at the end of the day, it’s me, sharing my story through writing, with my best version of a Godly perspective. Without revealing too much, I will leave you with this to sit on. Dear Younger Me; What would you say to yourself if you could go back in time?

I’ve got a long way to go but I am excited to finally reveal just a smidge of what I’ve been working on with you all! Life can be crazy and through it all, I truly do want to live it well. Everyone’s story is unique and everyone’s story is worth sharing. How do you want to share yours?!

Xoxo, Anna
