Classic Dresses Never Go Out of Style

Happy Easter (one day late)! Here is a little peak at what I wore! To be perfectly honest, I got dressed in quite a rush and had little time to select my Easter Sunday outfit. Poor planning on my part! Fortunately, my closet is filled with staple pieces such as this yellow dress that I opted to wear. There is something to be said about purchasing a timeless and classic piece. It really can go a long ways! This light yellow dress from BCBG is a piece that I have had in my closet since high school. BCBG can be pricey and while I am all about a good deal, some purchases are worth the extra money. This dress is the perfect example of spending a little more to get a little more. It has certainly gotten its money’s worth! I also love this dress because I am a firm believer in dressing appropriately for the occasion. There is a time to be trendy and a time to be classy! On Easter Sunday specifically, I always aim for classy. I love the length of this dress along with the neck line. The pastel yellow was perfect for spring while the ruffles and embroidery made it perfectly dainty! This classic dress was the perfect (and easy) selection for Easter Sunday with my family!

I accessorized this dress with my fun, yet very neutral, polka dot heels, my Tiffany & Co. cross, big pearl earrings from Banana Republic, and my sterling silver cubic zirconia tennis bracelet. The accessories I selected were very simple, in hopes to highlight my cross. What an important day to remember the beauty of the cross!

Xoxo, Anna
